A child-star manager responsible for the careers of twin Disney Channel actors has pleaded no contest to misdemeanor child molestation and misdemeanor sale of an alcoholic beverage to a minor, TMZ.com reports.

Josh Werkman, the manager of Cole and Dylan Sprouse, appeared Friday in Ventura County (Calif.) Superior Court to enter the plea in connection with the molestation of a 16-year-old boy, the site said.

The Sprouse twins are the stars of "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" on the Disney Channel and were not involved in the criminal case involving their manager, TMZ.com said.

Werkman, who is also the CEO of Merimark Entertainment, was originally arrested on felony sexual battery by restraint charges, the site said.

"Josh admitted he annoyed an individual who is a minor and provided that person with alcohol on the day in question," Werkman's lawyer Steve Cron told TMZ.com. "He acknowledged that he used bad judgment on that occasion and that is why he pleaded no contest to the two charges."
