Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will have their next child in France to honor the actress’ late French-Canadian mother, The Sun reports.

And despite rumors that the couple is expecting twins, they are having one girl, The Sun says.

"Angelina has been told she is expecting a girl. She’s thrilled," a source told the British paper.

Angelina’s mother, actress Marcheline Bertrand, died last year.

After months of house-hunting, Brad and Angelina have bought a chateau in the south of France and plan to make it their family home, The Sun says.

"Angelina is proud of her French roots and wants her latest addition to be born and raised there," the source told The Sun.

Jolie and Pitt ended months of speculation that the couple is expecting another child after showing off the "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" star's baby bump Saturday night at the Film Independent Spirit Awards in California.
