A college couple that disappeared from the Providence, R.I., area after a Valentine's Day date have been found.

Amy Scott and Daniel Querzoli were reported missing after the pair borrowed a friend's car to go somewhere and disappeared. Scott is back home in New Jersey.

Querzoli is currently in police custody after being arrested for being in a stolen vehicle, his father, Brian Warren, told GretaWire.

Warren said he had not spoken to his son and doesn't know why he ended up in Pennsylvania, but he said Querzoli told police someone was chasing him.

Scott is a student at Johnson and Wales University and Querzoli attends Bridgewater State College.

Providence police told The MetroWest Daily News that Querzoli had filed a police report the same day they vanished saying he went to his girlfriend's apartment to confront her about her alleged cocaine use and she pushed him.

The couple, who have been dating since last fall, left without taking their wallets, ID or cell phones.

Amy's roommates say the couple had a minor spat a day before they left, but nothing seemed wrong when they returned from dinner.
