Kate Hudson has undoubtedly inherited her mother's golden glow and ethereal body, but that doesn't mean the "Fool's Gold" glamour girl was totally comfortable flaunting her figure while co-star Matthew McConaughey was covered in cotton.

"I'm usually in a uniform and he's usually shirtless, so I only get really one bikini shot in the movie, which made me quite happy as most women would agree like 'Aaaggh be on film for the rest of your life in a bikini,'" Hudson told Pop Tarts at the Hollywood premiere of the fun new flick on Wednesday night.

"But I'm an actor, so I do what I am told — even if that means sitting around in a bikini with everyone watching," she added.

Although the stars are only physically attracted to each other on-screen, Hudson seemed pretty "excited" to be back with the boy she fell for in "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days" some five years ago.

“It was pretty good; it has been a while, about five years, but Matthew and I haven’t really changed much except that I am a mom now. But our reunion went very smoothly actually," she said. "I was just so excited to work with him again."

It seems the good feeling toward each other is mutual.

“We did pretty similar — we didn’t change much at all. Something about it works, doesn’t it? I’m not quite sure what it was — well, it is chemistry — but then explaining what that is, [is] what’s interesting. We fight well, we flirt well," said McConaughey. "We have a good rhythm where we can really care about each other and really not stand each other and it works. We're always courting but never courted."

Sanjaya Is a Diva

Sanjaya Malakar may have risen to fame as Simon Cowell's sore point in last season's "American Idol," but it seems that the wannabe pop prince is now too popular for the press.

Sanjaya caused a stir when he applied to audition for one of six slots alongside pro golfer Phil Mickelson in a national ad campaign for Crowne Hotels and Casinos.

However, a mass of media waited hours for Sanjaya to strut his stuff on Tuesday, but the reality star (who has lost the long locks) was a no-show.

"We heard he was a bit of a flake," an insider told Pop Tarts. "But we didn't expect him to have all these crews come out and then not come."

So was it nerves, or has our Mr. Malakar extended his "fame" from 15 to 20 minutes and is now too cool for school?

Amanda Bynes Picks Up Poo

Anybody who caught a glimpse of Amanda Bynes in her strapless Marchesa gown at the SAG awards on Sunday would think she lived a life of total luxury, but it was just an hour earlier that the “Hairspray” hottie was digging out dog poop.

“I’ve got a new puppy, so I’ve just been picking up all the poo and taking [it] out to the trash and flushing and cleaning,” Bynes told Pop Tarts. “That’s definitely not glamorous, but I do it because I love him. I’ll do anything for him.”

Pop Tarts had the pleasure of meeting Amanda’s tiny tri-colored Cavalier King Charles Spaniel a couple of weeks ago, and with those big eyes and long ears, it is easy to see why the starlet is in love.

Josh Hartnett's 'Virus'

Josh Harnett strikes most as an actor unaffected by the airs and graces of the industry that surrounds him. Dressed down in jeans, the "August" star appears as though nothing could curb his calm, collected nature — well, that is until we raise the issue of the information age.

“The thing that kinda bothers me about it is that everybody becomes an expert just because they’ve written a blog or something like that," he said.

"Back in the day, we had a few networks and everybody had been going through their trials to get there — they were obviously good journalists and so they had responsibility,” he told Pop Tarts while discussing his new flick, which centers on the dotcom boom. “Now these days, you can hide, you can be on the other side of the computer just typing away — you write some sensationalistic stuff and people go nuts for it and it doesn't really mean that any of it is true.

"I hope people end up getting sick of feeling like they don’t know anything about what’s really going on in the world," he added.

But that doesn’t mean Hartnett hasn’t been doing a little "surfing" himself.

“I’ve been on Perez Hilton three times since I arrived at Sundance,” he said.
