Sheriff: Washington Mom Shot 3 of Her Children

CLARKSTON, Wash. – Asotin County Sheriff Ken Bancroft says a Clarkston mother shot three of her children, then turned the gun on herself.

Bancroft says 31-year-old Elizabeth Duman is responsible for her own death and the death of her son, 18-month-old Abraham, as well as the wounding of 3-month-old Ruby Rose Duman and 3-year-old Johannes Duman.

Ruby Duman remained in critical condition and her brother was in serious condition Saturday at a Spokane, Wash., hospital.

Bancroft says crime scene evidence and preliminary autopsy results indicate the deaths and injuries are the result of Elizabeth Duman using a firearm.
