The distributor — who wished to keep his name private — reportedly bought the piece a couple of years ago near the Brazilian town of Espirito Santo, or "Holy City."

The granite dealer has decided to sell the unusual piece, and has turned to Thomas Finkbiner of isolditgulfcoast.com for help.

Finkbiner helps people sells things on eBay. He expected the granite slab would attract a lot of interest.

A grilled cheese sandwich, which purportedly bore an image of the Virgin Mary, sold on eBay for $28,000 in 2004.

"This isn't the Virgin Mary in a grilled cheese sandwich sold on eBay," he told FOX 13. "It's quite a substantial piece. And I assume that whoever buys it is going to put it on public display. It is a very interesting natural image."
