A new, strict dress code will bar bare midriffs and mini skirts during the Royal Ascot, The Daily Telegraph reported.
Women may not come to the event in off-the-shoulder halter necks or multi-strapped dresses where the straps are less than 1 inch wide, according to the report.

The new rules were born after more and more newcomers were attending the five-day horse-racing event baring plenty of flesh and tattoos, The Daily Telegraph reported.
The changes are reportedly backed by the Queen.
