Welcome to the PC&G blog!

My name’s Liz, and I scour the Web for cool sites — not all of them make it into our weekly video package, so we’re posting them right here. I’ll post my finds daily.

Got something you think we should see? Send me an e-mail at mobileliz@foxnews.com!

Richard Simmons — Ahhh Richard, you spunky, spunky little man. This video is my No. 1 reason for why I like him SO much. http://www.clipstr.com/videos/QuitePossiblyTheFunniestWhoseLineIsItAnywayUSEver/

Fruit Cake Lady! — This one’s a blast from the past! I think this lady might just be my new idol. Well, maybe not, but her advice is definitely the BEST! http://break.com/index/ask_the_fruitcake_lady.html

Far Out — Here’s a bunch of homes that are LITERALLY in the middle of nowhere. Heading to the grocery store must be a vacation for these cabin dwellers. http://torispics.com/pic-409-Incredibly-Secluded-Houses

Astrology — I’m not a huge believer, but this site has a pretty good listing of Zodiac information. http://zodiac-signs-astrology.com/

Tampon Crafts — Yup, this is a site giving you step by step instructions on how to turn your feminine products into art. UGH! http://www.tamponcrafts.com/

Lion King Trailer Re-Cut — As if this movie wasn’t scary enough! YES, my 12-year-old self cried when Simba’s father died, but that’s beside the point. This movie trailer re-cut is horrific … in the best way possible. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbBNqNaZVc8

Loose Tires — This video may seem a little long, but the punch line is worth the wait. I definitely didn’t see this one coming. http://youtube.com/watch?v=g9Fz0kdsAnY

Lionel Deluy — Never heard the name? Well, he’s a fantastic photographer who’s taken shots of everyone from Jessica Alba, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Gosling and even Hef and his three girls! So my favorites are definitely the celebrity shots, but check out “fashion&http://rdquo; target="_blank" for his shoot from this season’s America’s Next Top Model. http://www.lioneldeluy.com/

Suggested by Emily from Burlington, VT:

Free Rice — Get smart and help end world hunger all at the same time! Here’s a game that tests your vocabulary and donates rice to the hungry, all at the same time. http://www.freerice.com/

Pirate Laws — “Yo ho, yo ho, a pirates life for me.&http://rdquo; target="_blank" This site is FABULOUS! Here’s a list of pirate laws that MUST be obeyed, like, “When fishing, a pirate uses either a sword, a knife, or his bare hands. Use of a hook is only acceptable in the event the pirate is missing a hand&http://rdquo; target="_blank" and, “A pirate does not use the word Fabulous’. Ever.” — Looks like I’m not a real pirate! ARRRRRRRRRRRRR. http://www.piratelaws.com/

Smart Bird — Polly want a cracker? This bird can imitate almost any animal — crazy and very cute! http://www.koreus.com/video/smart-bird.html

Slow Bullets — Slow motion bullet photography — how they got these shots so perfect is beyond me, but I love it! http://m3.bestpicever.com/piles/?s=slowbullets

Trivia Challenge — I LOVE TRIVIA, even though I suck at it … but that doesn’t stop me from loving this site. It’s a trivia quiz that keeps going ‘til you mess up three times in a row. Points are based on how hard the question is, so hold you breathe and see just how good you are. I got a score of 1,003 — WOOT! http://www.triviachallenge.org/

Amazing Pics — Here are some really awesome aerial shots taken of the earth. I’m not sure if this is luck or skill, but I’m impressed. http://deputy-dog.com/2007/11/01/11-phenomenal-images-of-earth/

Webster Is My B*tch — I love celebrity gossip sites — it’s one of my guilty pleasures in life. But, what I hate about them is that they are all the same. NOT ANY MORE! Using common words to define the escapades of celebrities, this site has become one of my new favorites! – Check out their definition for “Achievement” — giving this award to Mary Kate Olsen is CLASSIC.

Yumm — Here’s one more site dedicated to helping you find the perfect place to eat! It looks like the page is pretty new, so keep your eye on it for new reviews. http://restaurants.yumm.com/

Today is all about LONGEVITY! — According to these three sites, I’ll be alive till I’m 83 years old! Now I know it’s not real — but how crazy is it that they all predicted the same age? — Liz

Living to 100 — This quiz is GIGANTIC, so make sure you have time to take it. They also have a newsletter you can sign up for, to receive info on how you can prolong your expected life span. http://www.livingto100.com/

Death Forecast — This quiz was pretty cool and very quick — so if you don’t have time for the first one, I’d go for this. http://www.deathforecast.com/

Longevity Quiz — This one has, by far, the BEST design! Cute animations go with each question, but I feel like it could have asked more than12 questions. It doesn’t seem to be enough to “properly” predict when you will die. http://www.nmfn.com/tn/learnctr--lifeevents--longevity

Songza — This site is the SIMPLEST way to listen to free music on the web. Their song list is kind of limited for each artist, but it’s is perfect for a quick music fix. http://songza.com/

White Trash — These artists take the phrase “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” to new heights, and I LOVE IT. http://www.slightlywarped.com/crapfactory/curiosities/onemanstrash.htm

Lite Brite — Here’s your chance to relive your childhood! It’s a virtual Lite Brite, and the simplicity of it is fantastic. http://www.sfpg.com/animation/liteBrite.html

Super Mario FLASH — It’s the flash version of the Nintendo classic and I absolutely LOVE it! The downside is getting used to the arrow keys instead of the controller – it can get a little tricky. Remember, this is a replica, so the levels are not exactly the same … but I think that made the game even more interesting. http://pouetpu.pbwiki.com/Smf_640X480

Extreme Caterpillar — Ouch! I’ve seen this move done before, but never like this. It looks pretty awesome but painful as hell. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpWATMtTPkk

iFoods — Here’s a site that’s A LOT cooler than foodnetwork.com, and would have come in handy when I was desperately trying to thicken my stew… unfortunately it just became soup. Anyways… They’ve got tons of video recipes (key word is video) from top rated chefs, BUT what’s really nice about this site its that they have user submitted stuff too, so now its just one giant community of recipe sharing. Only problem I do see is that they don’t gibe written instructions to refer back to along the way… hopefully they will add this feature soon. http://ifoods.tv/site/index.jsp

Crazy Asian Game Show — Reminiscent of Spike’s MXC and just as funny. Make sure you watch through to the end — it cracks me up each and every time. http://youtube.com/watch?v=84_QL1kEmH4

Itchy Butt — The reaction this cat has to its butt being scratched is hilarious! I wish I was that surprised by the simplest things in life. http://my.break.com/content/view.aspx?ContentID=388549

Simpson’s Quotes — “Will you be my mommy, you smell like dead bunnies.” — By Ralph Wiggum, enough said http://www.thesimpsonsquotes.com/characters/ralph-wiggum-quotes.html

Internet Trick — Here are directions for a really cool Internet trick — it’s hard to explain, but it makes your screen do weird things. I did it. It’s not a trick. http://www3.webng.com/redtophank/cit.html

Veggie Art — Here’s one that will get the kids to eat their veggies, and it’s making me kinda hungry too! Mmmmm broccoli. http://www.monicel.info/2007/09/16/fruit-and-veggie-art/

Peeve Town — Has someone pissed you off? Want to let them know in a fun way just how much they pissed you off? Well, now you can! These free e-cards and not the warmest, but their message is loud and clear — and they’re free! http://www.peevetown.com/PeeveTown.htm

Bad Day at the Office — Don’t get any ideas … I’m pretty sure most of this was staged, but it’s hysterical. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4a1z7NLnNk

Octopus Child — No really, this kid's got eight limbs!! GROSS! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=491757&in_page_id=1770

Stickman Madness 2 — A very addictive flash game where you shoot things... ALWAYS FUN! http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/381048

Cats in Sinks — A completely useless site displaying pictures of cats in sinks ... why anyone would even take a picture of their cat in a sink is beyond me. http://catsinsinks.com/

Seeso — This guy’s got some of the best ukulele covers I’ve ever heard My favorite is his rendition of “Rubber Ducky,” ¬ but check out his YouTube page for more. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgOL9fKYL90

The Return of Stinkymeat — During the summer of 2000, Mahlon Smith embarked upon a great scientific project which he called Stinkymeat. For 19 straight days he documented the look and smell of decaying meat, hidden unsuspectingly in his neighbor’s backyard. The results were horrific — but it did inspire a new project: hiding meat in the ceiling above a shower in a college dorm ¬… NASTY! The project started only a few days ago so catch up on their earlier links and follow the progress of the NEW Stinkymeat. WARNING: Do not view this site before, during or after eating ¬ I almost threw up my PB&J. http://gloriousstench.blogspot.com/2007/10/day-5-progressing-nicely.html
