Katie Holmes may come across as the pristine parent and sublime spouse, but put her with Queen Latifah and Diane Keaton, and this girl has the power to make even high-powered fellas fall.

"Oh, of course, we were very intimidating," Holmes told FOX with a smile at Wednesday’s premiere of "Mad Money."

Co-star Ted Danson was clearly affected by the excess estrogen.

"Girl power, Hillary, excuse me, I’m sorry. It’s the year of the woman — yeah, let’s do it," he added enthusiastically. "What great, great ladies. I think that’s really why I took this script. My friend Callie Khouri directed it and Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah, Katie Holmes, that’s an interesting group."

Sounds like Katie was a lot of fun, too. According to her co-stars, the former "Dawson’s Creek" star had a "truck" of creamy cupcakes cruise onto the set, and even more extravagant was that she had specially made gourmet pizzas flown in from Chicago for the "Mad Money" gang.

But judging by Mrs. Cruise’s fabulously flab-free figure, we cannot confirm that she joined in with the consuming of that gourmet grease.

Britney's New Beau: Another 'Bad Choice'?

Britney Spears certainly has made some "bad choices" when it comes to boys and buddies. Even her reported current catch Adnan Ghalib (a paparazzo who has spent months following the pop princess around) agreed that she makes some poor choices when it comes to pals.

"It's unfortunate that she is the way she is because of the people she surrounds herself with," Ghalib recently told "20/20."

"She's easily influenced, and that's where her bad choices come from. … She's never made the best choices in friends, even her relationships."

But could this pap-snapper only be adding to Britney’s blues?

"He seems like a nice enough guy," a fellow photog told Pop Tarts. "But he doesn’t seem like somebody Britney needs right now. She needs somebody with a solid career who can really help through this mess right now."

'Idol'-Winning Secret: Be 16 and Sexy?

We've seen a number of shapes, sizes and styles take the "American Idol" crown over the years, but as we approach the start of the seventh season, could the formula to being a finalist involve being a sexy stunner?

"This is the best-looking group of contestants that we've ever had," host Ryan Seacrest revealed to FOX. "We have narrowed it down to an excellent group — once they get to the live stage of this competition and the vote is America's, it really, really gets intense."

And being underage may very well have "winning" benefits as well.

"One of the best contestants we saw is only 16 years old and he is kinda uncomfortable and awkward when he is on camera, but when he sings, he is a different guy," Ryan added. "So I think the audience is going to love this season."

And while Seacrest says it’s a sexy line-up this time around, judge Randy Jackson doesn’t necessarily want anyone to bring "SexyBack."

"This season, it’s all about originality. Are you original and do you know who you are as a performer? That’s what it is really about," Jackson said. "None of us are really looking for trying to find the next Justin Timberlake or Mariah or Janet or any of that."

Speaking of Janet, let’s hope fellow judge Paula Abdul doesn’t have any wardrobe malfunctions should she sign the dotted line to perform in this year’s Super Bowl. According to TV Guide insiders, the former dancer is in talks (and rehearsals) to do her thang on the Feb. 3 FOX telecast.

Aniston and Vaughn Share 'Deep Connection'

They may be former flames, but they certainly aren’t former friends, as Vince Vaughn insists he and Jennifer Aniston are still going strong ... as pals.

"I have such a great friendship with Jennifer," Vaughn told PARADE magazine. "Really. I still talk to her constantly. I have a real, genuine connection with Jen. And I have a real appreciation of her. That continues to this day."

Aniston and Vaughn called it quits in December 2006 after being romantically linked for more than 18 months.

But on the other end of the spectrum, it turns out that the rumors that he and Reese Witherspoon have been fighting on the set of their current film, "Four Christmases," are just that: rumors.

"That couldn’t be further from the truth. I adore her. She’s not only a great actress, she’s very funny. We’ve been having a really good time," Vaughn added. "You predicted that the press would say that we were dating, but they went the other way and said we’re fighting. The two of us get along great."
