Report: 'American Idol' Star Katharine McPhee Is Engaged

"American Idol" runner-up Katharine McPhee is engaged to actor Nick Cokas, according to People magazine.

McPhee, 23, is allegedly "bubbling over with excitement for her upcoming wedding," a source reportedly told People.

McPhee's relationship with Cokas, 42, blossomed when Cokas "took me up to my San Francisco ['Idol'] audition," McPhee told the magazine. "We totally fell in love."

McPhee reportedly said the age difference in their relationship was "never really a concern," and was recently spotted wearing a ring Cokas is said to have given her.
