NEW CASTLE, Del. – Eight juveniles have been charged with underage drinking after being caught at a party where police found the 11-year-old host passed out in a pool of vomit.
New Castle County Police say the boy's parents, who had been out, returned home Saturday about 10 p.m. to find a house full of intoxicated kids ages 11-15. The police went to the parent's home in the 600 block of Plum Run Court near New Castle.
Police say the 11-year-old boy was taken to Christiana Hospital for treatment.
The police investigation shows he and his eight friends contributed money to an adult who bought the beer for them. All of them have been charged with underage consumption of alcohol.
The 20-year-old male has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
