Texas Woman Claims Chinese-Made Flip-Flops Burned Feet

A Texas woman claims a pair of Chinese-made flip-flops severely burned her feet, MyFOXDFW.com reports.

Taylor Vanover bought the inexpensive footwear at a Wal-Mart in Gun Barrel City, Texas, and a rash developed three weeks later, she told the station.

"It hurts, it's irritating, very irritating," she said. Video of her feet showed red burn marks on her skin in the shape of the shoes' straps.

When she confronted the Wal-Mart store about the shoes, officials told her to contact the Chinese manufacturer.
