Talk about spreading the love. It's like a game of musical kidneys.

Doctors at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center are scheduled to perform a group of operations today that would result in three people getting new kidneys.

Forty-year-old John Feal is expected to donate one of his kidneys to another person. That person's spouse is slated to give a kidney to yet another person. That person's spouse is going to donate a kidney to 56-year-old Paul Grossfeld.

Grossfeld, who has suffered from kidney disease for years, found Feal last year when he was searching for a kidney donor. Feal was originally planning to give his kidney to Grossfield, but he was found to be a better match for someone else, and so the transplant chain was set up.
