The on-again, off-again Republican version of the CNN/YouTube debate will be held on Nov. 28.

The cable station announced Monday that the two-hour debate will be held in Florida and urged online users to submit their questions. The debate had been scheduled for mid-September, but some candidates balked at the format after the Democratic debate and expressed concern that it would take time from their fundraising before the third-quarter deadline.

The Democratic version in July stretched the boundaries of traditional political broadcasts, with variations on the typical questions and queries from a melting snowman and a woman in her bathroom.

That debate attracted 2.6 million television viewers, a slight drop from the numbers who tuned in a month earlier for a more typical debate.
