WASHINGTON – Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke on Thursday was set to deliver to a Senate panel the same message he delivered to the House of Representatives on Wednesday: inflation is the Fed's main concern, although a weak housing market poses a risk to growth.
A text of the remarks Bernanke prepared for delivery to the Senate Banking Committee at a hearing scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. appeared identical to a statement he delivered on Wednesday to the House Financial Services Committee.
