Florida Man Runs Over Wife With SUV

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla – A Florida man allegedly ran over his wife Tuesday and is now behind bars.

Jamey Warsecke is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Police said he ran over his wife, Lisa Walters, while she was sitting in front of his car to keep him from driving off with their baby. The middle of the SUV passed over Walters.

Police said she suffered severe injuries that weren't life threatening.

Walters has been released from the hospital, but her husband is being held in the Pasco County jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

This reportedly isn't the first time police have responded to the couple's home.
