A 10-year-old Florida girl, who lost her mother at the hands of an alleged drunk driver, is suing the woman suspected of causing the crash.
Jessica McCaw, of Sarasota, has obtained a lawyer and is filing suit against Rachel Dixon, the woman who troopers say was drunk when she drove Kelly McCaw home on the same night they met.

Jessica McCaw and her older brother never received money from Dixon’s insurance company after the accident. If McCaw wins, the money would go towards a trust fund for her that a judge would oversee.
Dixon is set to stand trial in November and is charged with DUI manslaughter. She has pleaded not guilty.
