For city dwellers, a garden isn’t impossible you can create a mini oasis in the middle of your busy, hectic concrete jungle.
A simple clay pot, some seasonal hanging baskets, even an old boot can be transformed into a beautiful flower or delicious herb garden.
Many websites can tell you how to get started, and also be sure to check out your local nursery or home center, who always have great tips for the urban gardener.
When it comes to the big city, don’t be afraid to get a little dirty in the garden that is so get out, and get growing!

Experts have found that indoor plants like spider plants and golden pothos absorb carbon monoxide and formaldehyde from the air. Philodendrons, dracaena massangeana, and spathiphyllum were also shown to help remove pollutants and harmful gases from indoor spaces.
Future studies will probably find even more plants with purifying capabilities. NASA plans to aggressively test the abilities of houseplants to absorb contaminants from the air on future space station missions.
