CAMP HILL, Pa. – A person was killed inside a hospital building Friday, and authorities issued a description of a "person of interest" and asked the public's help in finding him.
Authorities released few details about the killing that took place around noon inside the five-story Medical Arts Building, part of the Holy Spirit Hospital complex in Camp Hill.
"We're treating this death as a homicide," Jaime Keating, a Cumberland County assistant district attorney, told reporters. He said the motive is not currently known.
Keating declined to say whether the victim was a man or woman, or how the slaying occurred.
"We have leads as to what we think is the cause of death," Keating said.
The person of interest was described as between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-10 with a slight build, dark and wavy hair, a dark complexion and wearing dark pants.
Keating asked anyone who saw someone fleeing the scene who fits that description to call East Pennsboro Township Police. He said a search of the grounds and surrounding area continued, and urged neighbors to be cautious.
