Have to make the blog quick today as I am writing during the breaks of "Brian and the Judge" radio show so I can make a 2 p.m. plane to Birmingham, Alabama. Tonight I head to Books-a-Million, and tomorrow I can't wait to bring the show to Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Ala. As you know, over the next two months we will be visiting bases in Jacksonville, Tampa, Austin and more just to thank those serving, fighting and sacrificing.

The wait and the search continue for those three missing U.S. soldiers taken by terrorists last Saturday. As I mentioned, I was shocked to see there is still a "Triangle of Death" in Iraq, especially after our soldiers were captured, tortured and killed last summer in the very same place. Encouraged to hear from one of the soldier's families today and to learn that he is the type of guy who would make a run and an escape. Also heartening to hear evidence from the scene pointing to a massive struggle before the capture. Next thing I want to hear on this subject is how all three are free!

If you missed today's show you missed Mindy the camera operator do a live cartwheel to start and end the show. Yes, it's true we are now hiring operators for their flexibility and dexterity, which is one of the many reasons 250-pound Hardy Kluender left.

Hope to see you all in Alabama, and if not just go to www.briankilmeade.com and order my book "It's How You Play the Game," the powerful sports moments that taught lasting values to America's finest, and I will personalize it for you.

The biggest surprise of the show was the presence of Geraldo Rivera who talked about Joey Buttafuoco and Amy Fisher. Only one person can show up in a green room with a suit on and walk on a national show, and that's the legend known simply as Geraldo!
