An Amtrak train bound for New Orleans derailed Wednesday in Southern California, although no one aboard was injured, authorities said.

The nine-car train carrying 190 passengers and crew was traveling about 10 mph when at least one wheel came off the track near the LA/Ontario International Airport in San Bernardino County, Amtrak spokeswoman Vernae Graham said. The cars all remained upright.

Passengers were taken by bus back to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles, where they were to board another New Orleans-bound train, Graham said.

The Ontario airport is located about 50 miles east of Los Angeles.
