Amber Alert Issued in New Jersey After Man Drives Off With 7-Year-Old in Backseat

CAMDEN, N.J. – Authorities have issued an Amber Alert after a car was stolen with a seven-year-old in the back seat in Camden.

The child's name is Jada Cordero.

State police say she was in her mother's 2007 silver Pontiac G-Six.

State police say Lakeesha White got out of the car to help an elderly person cross the street when a male jumped in and drove off.

The vehicle has a temporary New Jersey registration number 5-1-0-5-8-8-9.
