A 13-year-old Florida boy woke up Wednesday with a stomach ache only to discover he'd been shot.
Acumen Johnson of Orlando was wounded while sleeping early Wednesday morning during a drive-by shooting.
"We just heard gunshots," Johnson's cousin, Latisha Wilson, told WFTV-TV in Orlando. "He came out of his room saying his stomach was hurting and we saw that he was shot."
His mother, Lynsoir Wilson, called police. Officers said they found Johnson on the living room couch, clutching a bloody shirt to his stomach.
Johnson was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center where doctors removed the bullet. Police said the boy was in stable condition.
