An 11-year-old Florida girl returned home Tuesday afternoon after an Amber Alert was issued for her.

The girl disappeared Monday night after she went to get ice cream from a local mall.

The Orlando Sentinal reported Tuesday afternoon that police said the girl who has brown hair and brown eyes and was a fifth-grade student at Audubon Elementary in Orlando, appeared to be in good condition when she returned to the Home Suite Home Extended Stay just before 1 p.m., said Orlando Police Sgt. Barbara Jones. Police are now interviewing the girl, to determine where she had been.

Local FOX affiliate WOFL confirmed that report.

Dozens of officers earlier were combing the area for the girl, who was last seen at 8 p.m. Monday night. Nanotchka left the hotel to go to the Fashion Square Mall for ice cream.

"We have units from across the city searching the entire East-West Colonial corridor for this 11-year-old girl," Sgt. Brian Donahue of the Orlando Police Department told WOFL before she was found.
