A woman charged with bank robbery was released from jail Friday while her newlywed husband, accused of three heists, will remain behind bars.

U.S. Magistrate Judge David Nuffer released Kylee Rich to her parents in Orem over the objections of a federal prosecutor, The Salt Lake Tribune reported on its Web site.

"By her own admission, this third robbery was motivated by a lack of heroin and a need for money to buy drugs," Assistant U.S. Attorney John Huber told Nuffer. "This wasn't a 'wake up on Saturday morning and decide what to do today' plan."

The Riches are charged with robbing a Wells Fargo branch in Lindon on Jan. 27. Rich, 20, is accused of providing a getaway car for her husband, Joshua, 25.

Joshua Rich is also charged with robbing the same bank twice in November without his wife.

The Riches, who lived in Lehi, were married in November, shortly after the first robbery. The money was spent on the wedding and trips to Las Vegas and Palm Springs, Calif., police said.
