Yet even that goes only so far in addressing your need for on-the-go access to Cartman, Kyle and the animated series' other characters.

That's what Comedy Central is counting on as it prepares to launch South Park Mobile, a one-stop mobile-phone application brimming with blogs, video, behind-the-scenes news, graphics, and yes, more ringtones.

Forget what happened in the third episode of season four? Don't sweat it: South Park Mobile will offer plot points and video from all 10 seasons.

The Comedy Central application will be available later this year on various carriers. Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Cingular and Helio are among the services that currently carry Comedy Central videos.
