Man Dies After Falling From Texas Dorm

AUSTIN, Texas – A 25-year-old man died Friday after falling from the fifth floor of a private dormitory near the University of Texas at Austin, police said.

A dog walker spotted the body on a sidewalk near University Towers, police said. The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, died at a hospital, police spokesman James Mason said.

Police were investigating but said they do not suspect foul play.

It was not immediately clear whether the man was a resident of the dormitory. The dorm is used by students attending the university and other local colleges.
