The White House announced Wednesday that Karl Rove would no long be advising on policy development. In his tenure at the White House, he:
— was promoted to deputy chief of staff in charge of most White House policy coordination just over a year ago.
— served as chief strategist for the Bush-Cheney 2000 presidential campaign.
Previously, he:
— was president of Karl Rove & Company, an Austin, Texas-based public affairs firm.
— served as a member of the Board of International Broadcasting.
— taught at the LBJ School of Public Affairs and in the Journalism Department at the University of Texas at Austin.
