Dear friends of "FOX and Friends,"

Greetings and welcome to another week of news casting. Brian's back from a few days away from the hot lights of Studio B and now E.D.'s off this week. For the next few days, Gretchen Carlson is taking her place, sitting in E.D.'s chair and making prank calls from E.D.'s office phone:

"Hi Dominos, this is a delivery order, I need 87 sausage and mushroom pizzas. My name? Lou Dobbs."

Today, the first day of spring, seems like a good time to talk about spring break. On Tuesday's show we've got Judge David Cowell from South Padre Island, Texas. The judge spends his every February, March and April listening to boozed-up college kids make excuses why they just blew a 1.5 in the breathalyzer of that nice police officer.

His judicial proceedings are half civics lesson as he gives students explanatory details after finding them guilty. We'll ask him some of the kooky things he's heard as spring breakers try to rationalize their bad behavior. Like the female student who was offered by police a cab to take her home, but she insisted it was her constitutional right to go to jail, which they gladly obliged.

Also tomorrow, we'll be joined by Olympic gold medalist, Ted Ligety; FOX News political contributors Bill Kristol and Fred Barnes, and Col. H. R. McMaster of the 3rd Cavalry regiment. The colonel was highlighted by President George W. Bush on Monday during his remarks regarding the third anniversary of the war in Iraq.

As we reflect on this milestone, it's amazing to think that it's already been three years. It's not easy making a country that was once dictatorial, democratic. But it is headed that way and they have earned our praise.

Every night, my daughter Sally and I say a prayer for every one of our servicemen and women. We pray that they all come home safely as quickly as the job is done. The job is a big one. But if we don't do it, who will? Just remember the words of our president:

"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and success of liberty."
— John F. Kennedy

Have a great day, and we'll see you tomorrow, starting at 6 a.m. ET.
