• And immediately after the president announced the nomination, Alito headed to Capitol Hill to meet with senators and it appears some Democrats are ready for a fight. Major Garrett takes a look at the reaction to Alito’s nomination.
• Alito is currently a U.S. Court of Appeals Judge in New Jersey, who was appointed to that position by the current president's father. Megyn Kendall reviews Alito's record throughout his legal career.
