A California man's been arrested and accused of throwing his new bride off a 200-foot-high cliff.

Brandon Manai (search) is to be arraigned today. He was arrested July 7th, a few days after fishermen found the body of Julia Rosas (search) at the bottom of a cliff in Rancho Palos Verdes (search), near Los Angeles. Investigators say that the couple had been married only a couple weeks but Rosas had already been checking into annulling the marriage.

In the days before her death, Rosas also had complained to friends about her husband's possessiveness, constant phone calls and text messages.

Manai was on parole for violating a restraining order involving a former girlfriend, who accused him of harassing her after she broke off their relationship.
