ESTACADA, Ore. – Police are looking for a man they say raped an 8-year-old girl in a wooded area near Estacada.
Edward Boss, 28, lived with the family and was asked to pick up the girl from school and bring her home.
Instead, the Wilsonville girl says Boss sexually assaulted her. His car broke down after the assault and he fled on foot.
The girl was found by a passing motorist. A family member took her to the hospital, where she was treated and released.
Boss is a white male, 6 foot 1, 200 pounds, with short brown hair, hazel eyes and a mustache. He was last seen wearing white cargo pants, a black sweatshirt and a tan jacket with green on it.
Boss is armed with at least one rifle.
