TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – U.S. Marshals on Friday arrested the Palm Beach County (search) sex offender that was missing for a few days.
Patrick Bell (search) was taken into custody after 8 a.m. EDT in Tallahassee.
He was at a city bus stop across from the Greyhound bus station and catty-corner from the U.S. Courthouse.
Investigators said the 39-year-old went to his mother's apartment Tuesday, cut off his tracking device and disappeared.
He is now in the Leon County Jail (search).
Bell was on supervised release before he took off his bracelet.
