Prince Charles (search) and Camilla Parker Bowles (search) will be married in a civil ceremony at 12:30 p.m. (7:30 a.m. EDT) Saturday, his office announced Tuesday.

The wedding was postponed a day to allow Charles to attend the funeral of Pope John Paul II (search).

The half-hour civil ceremony, to be attended by 30 guests, originally had been scheduled for 1:25 p.m. (8:25 a.m. EDT) Friday.

Otherwise, Charles office said that key events would be exactly a day later — with the service of prayer and dedication in St. George's Chapel to begin at 2:30 p.m. (9:30 a.m. EDT) and the couple to depart for their honeymoon in Scotland at 6 p.m. (1 p.m. EDT)
