Jackson’s Trial: It's day two of the Michael Jackson (search) child molestation trial with the defense attorney wrapping up opening statements and a possible appearance on the witness stand for the infamous British journalist Martin Bashir (search), who produced the controversial documentary about Jackson. Surviving Capture: Thomas Hamill (search) was ambushed and captured in Iraq at the same time as missing soldier Matt Maupin (search). Hamill’s story is told in "Escape in Iraq: The Thomas Hamill Story," he joins “DaySide” to talk about his harrowing experience.

Manhunt: When Eric Rudolph (search) disappeared into the Appalachian Mountains in 1998, the FBI started a massive manhunt that lasted more than five years. Rudolph was wanted for bombing the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, two abortion clinics and a gay nightclub, but how was Rudolph able to evade capture and survive in the wild for so long? A new book is shedding some light on story; we’ll talk with the author of “Hunting Eric Rudolph,” Henry Schuster.

Women's Rights: Now that a couple years have passed since Afghanistan was liberated, do you wonder what it's like over there? Has life improved for Afghan women? We’ll ask Dr. Massouda Jalal, the Afghan Minister of Women's Affairs, for an update on life in Afghanistan.
