The funeral is tomorrow for a 103-year-old woman known as the "Easter Egg Lady."

Nell Burnett (search) died Monday in Tyler, Texas.

For decades, she was known for making hundreds of intricately decorated Easter eggs and baskets.

Burnett in 1979 told the Tyler Morning Telegraph (search) that she began decorating eggs in the 1930's to help pass the time while she was confined to bed recovering from an illness. Neighbors admired her work and asked if she would decorate eggs for them.

Word quickly spread — and the demand for the woman's egg art grew.
