LOS ANGELES – A son of the late singer Ray Charles (search) has been released on bail after being arrested in a drug investigation.
Ray Charles Robinson (search), who also goes by Ray Charles Junior, was arrested at a Los Angeles hotel yesterday for allegedly possessing drugs and being under the influence of cocaine (search).
Authorities haven't said whether he will be charged.
They say Robinson has been arrested before for possession of a controlled substance.
He's one of a dozen children of the singer whose life is portrayed in the Academy Award-nominated movie "Ray."
