NEW YORK – Idina Menzel (search), star of the Broadway musical "Wicked," arrived under heavy guard at the Gershwin Theater Sunday following racist threats against her and husband/actor Taye Diggs (search).
The couple's interracial marriage was the focus of at least three letters last week in which bodily harm was threatened, the New York Post (search) reported in Monday editions.
