Get "On the Record" weeknights at 10 p.m. ET

Jurors in the Scott Peterson (search) trial got quite a surprise when they returned to court after a week off. Scott Peterson's lawyers planned to launch his defense on Tuesday, but the judge delayed testimony until Oct. 18.

Why the delay? We'll ask Gloria Allred, Amber Frey's attorney; Jeanine Pirro, Westchester County D.A. and former judge; defense attorneys Ted Williams and Bernie Grimm; Jim Hammer, former San Francisco assistant district attorney, and Laura Ingle, reporter for KFI radio.

And, we'll go inside the minds of the jurors with former Peterson juror number five, Justin Falconer.

Plus, we'll preview Wednesday night's final presidential debate with Bill Kristol, editor of the Weekly Standard, and David Gergen, former presidential adviser and current director for public leadership at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.

Those stories and much more...
