Hurricane Ivan (search) slammed into Alabama's coastline early this morning, but the worst may be yet to come. With 130 mph winds expected to lash the South and 15 inches of rain and surges up to 16 feet, locals may be in for a bumpy ride. Ivan is already blamed for killing 12; could more fatalities be on the way?

• FNC Correspondent Jonathan Serrie (search) will join us live with Michael Dowd (search), mayor of one the cities hardest hit by Ivan's fury, Mobile, Ala. and Sheriff Jack Tillman.
