Nominees for the Country Music Association's (search) annual awards show will be announced Aug. 30 on CBS' "The Early Show" in New York and Country Music Television's "CMT Insider" in Nashville.

The announcement will be made live on the two shows at 8:30 a.m. EDT, CMA officials said Tuesday.

"The Early Show" anchor Hannah Storm will be joined by singer-songwriter Kris Kristofferson (search) in CBS studios to announce nominees in select categories.

"CMT Insider" host Katie Cook will be joined by singers Gretchen Wilson and Big & Rich in the CMT studios for the Nashville announcement, which will include nominees in all 12 awards categories.

CMT will re-air the 30-minute special at 9 a.m, 6:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. EDT.

The 38th Annual CMA Awards will be broadcast live from the Grand Ole Opry House on Nov. 9 on CBS.
