LONDON – Despite some disappointments, Tom Cruise (search) is not giving up on love and marriage. "I will never be down with love. Ever. I'm the guy who loves relationships. I love women," the 42-year-old star was quoted as saying in Tuesday's edition of the Daily Mirror tabloid.
"I'm the guy who's going to get married again. I'm not going to give up on that. I really love that kind of friendship and intimacy," said Cruise, who split from his girlfriend, the actress Penelope Cruz (search), in March.
"I know I'll get married again one day. I know I'll meet someone sometime and I'll have another go at it."
Cruise's first two marriages, to actresses Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman (search), ended in divorce.
The star of "Top Gun" (search) and "Mission: Impossible" said his ideal woman would share his love of adventurous pursuits.
"She has to have a great sense of humor and not mind having a little adventure in her life," he said. "I like riding motorcycles and flying airplanes and I want someone who's going to enjoy doing the things I enjoy."
Cruise is still on friendly terms with Kidman and the pair share custody of their children Isabella, 12, and Connor, nine.
"The relationships I've had, I've found very fulfilling," he said. "I've learned and I've grown from them and I have no regrets. It's a great time in my life."
In his latest film, "Collateral," released in Britain next month, Cruise plays a contract killer who hijacks a taxi in Los Angeles and forces the driver to drive him to his victims.
