"I'm the guy who's going to get married again. I'm not going to give up on that. I really love that kind of friendship and intimacy," said Cruise, who split from his girlfriend, the actress Penelope Cruz (search), in March.

"I know I'll get married again one day. I know I'll meet someone sometime and I'll have another go at it."

The star of "Top Gun" (search) and "Mission: Impossible" said his ideal woman would share his love of adventurous pursuits.

Cruise is still on friendly terms with Kidman and the pair share custody of their children Isabella, 12, and Connor, nine.

"The relationships I've had, I've found very fulfilling," he said. "I've learned and I've grown from them and I have no regrets. It's a great time in my life."

In his latest film, "Collateral," released in Britain next month, Cruise plays a contract killer who hijacks a taxi in Los Angeles and forces the driver to drive him to his victims.
