ANALYSIS: This is a last-ditch effort to find a way to win some votes for a candidate rapidly going down the tubes. The spot, in effect, asks for protest votes against the Washington political establishment as opposed to asking for votes to elect Dean president.
It focuses on Dean's campaign and not on Dean himself. It's well produced and presents the most potent message Dean has left. The big question for Dean: Is he so damaged that any TV ad campaign can save him?
