Here’s the latest edition of Some Stories You Won't Find on any other Sunday show:
Blinded by Faith?
Move over Janet Jackson. St. Louis Rams quarterback Kurt Warner (search) has gotten into a different kind of dust-up for something he said on Super Bowl Sunday.
According to The Baptist Press – a Christian publication – Warner said his coaches felt he was reading the Bible too much and it impacted his performance on the field. The former MVP also said that he lost his starting job because of his faith.
Rams head coach Mike Martz said Warner's comments were off the wall, noting that the team offers Bible study groups for players and their families.
Warner has since apologized, saying his comments were taken out of context.
That's Where the $ Goes
Presidential candidate Howard Dean (search) has made news in his campaign for all the money he raised – more than $40 million dollars – and for all the money he spent – more than $40 million.
Well, now we know where some of that money went. Last year Dean's campaign spent at least $6,800 at Lake Champlain Chocolates. The premium truffles from Burlington, Vermont were thank-you presents for hosts of major fund-raising events.
