The International Red Cross is warning that the death toll in southern Asia could rise as high as 100,000 following the massive earthquake and deadly tsunamis it triggered earlier this week.
Speaking to reporters at his ranch in Crawford, Texas, President Bush said today that the United States, India, Australia and Japan have formed an international coalition to coordinate worldwide relief and reconstruction efforts for the Asian region ravaged by a deadly earthquake and tsunamis.
"We will stand with them as they start to rebuild their communities," the president said.
We'll have the latest on the disaster and efforts to provide aid for victims of one of the largest natural disasters in modern history.
