Al Gore (search) is back, speaking before MoveOn.org in Washington, D.C. over the weekend.

MoveOn are the people who started a Web site about the Clinton sex scandals, also known as GetOverIt. Now they are attacking President Bush about the war on terror and the war in Iraq.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

AL GORE, FMR. VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES:  But in my opinion, it makes no more sense to launch an assault on our civil liberties as the best way to get at terrorists than it did to launch an invasion of Iraq as the best way to get at Usama bin Laden.

(APPLAUSE)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Well, it was the Clinton-Gore administration that Usama bin Laden attacked when Usama attacked the U.S. at least three times, suffering in return only a missile attack that blew up some tents in the desert.

So, is the former vice president the best person to be offering advice on this matter? I'll let you decide.

That's My Word.
