Monday, June 2: Rudolph in Custody

Suspected Olympic park bomber Eric Rudolph (search), who could face the death penalty if found guilty of murder charges in two states, will be tried first in Alabama, Attorney General John Ashcroft announced Monday morning.

Is this case a slam-dunk? Lis Wiehl, former federal prosecutor, and Jonna Spilbor, criminal defense attorney, join the debate.

Plus, Scott Peterson's defense team names a "new suspect" in his wife Laci's murder. Was Laci murdered by a drug-dealing vagrant? Is it the real deal, or an attempt by Scott's attorneys to raise reasonable doubt? We'll investigate.
