Mullah Omar Wants Protection

Hi, I'm Bill O'Reilly.  Thank you for watching us tonight.

Well, he encouraged his followers to die fighting the American infidels, and he protected the terrorist Usama bin Laden.  But now Taliban leader Mullah Omar wants protection.  And that's the subject of this evening's Talking Points memo.

Omar is surrounded in Kandahar and has offered to surrender if America protects him from his own countrymen.  This is rich.  This fanatical thug sent thousands of men to their graves by telling them to wage a holy war against the USA.  This disgraceful cleric encouraged foolish Muslims to die for absolutely no reason, and then presided over a brutal regime that terrorized its own citizens by mutilating them and forcing women to live like livestock.

Mullah Omar is the man that allowed Usama bin Laden to train his psychopathic killers and encouraged the murder of innocent civilians.  Now the mullah doesn't seem real anxious to meet Allah.  He doesn't seem real convinced that 70 virgins are waiting for him as soon as his martyrdom is complete.

No, Omar now wants protection.

This isn't a classic case of cowardice, "Talking Points" doesn't know what it is.  America should hand the guy over to the military, let them deal with him in private.  We gave this man plenty of chances to avoid the holy war that he so badly wanted.  Well, war is hell, Omar, and that's where you'll be very shortly.  Have a nice trip.

The Most Ridiculous Item of the Day

Time now for "The Most Ridiculous Item of the Day." 

Last night, we did a segment about a 10-year-old girl in New Hampshire who was devastated after watching the terror attack on television at her grammar school.  We asked for your opinion on whether or not kids should be put in that position.

We got hundreds of responses, and the consensus is that schools cannot properly provide the emotional guidance necessary when traumatic events unfold.  So, according to you, pre-teenagers should not be watching live news events in school.

Not everybody feels that way, but most of you do, and that's, of course, not ridiculous at all.
