The Backstreet Boys postponed their remaining sold-out concerts at the FleetCenter this week after band member Nick Carter broke his hand.

The concerts had been scheduled for Monday night, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, said FleetCenter spokesman Jim Delaney.

Carter, 21, injured his right hand on Saturday, said Todd Brodginski, a publicist for the band.

The five-member group already had played sold-out shows at the FleetCenter on Friday and Saturday, Delaney said.

It was unclear what the band's plans were for concerts planned in Ottawa on July 13 and Buffalo, N.Y., on July 14.

Concert organizers announced Monday afternoon that the Boston dates have been rescheduled for Sept. 8-10. Tickets already purchased will be honored for those dates. Fans who can't make the rescheduled dates can get a refund where they bought their tickets, Delaney said.
