Fairfield, CT (SportsNetwork.com) - Sacred Heart's football program will try to become the second program in Northeast Conference history to win three consecutive conference titles this year.

Included in an 11-game 2015 schedule announced Wednesday are five home games at Campus Field.

The Pioneers and coach Mark Nofri will kick off the season on Sept. 5 by hosting Saint Anselm. They won't play again at home for six weeks until they face Cornell on Homecoming Day Oct. 17.

Their final three home games are within the NEC against Central Connecticut State (Oct. 24), Duquesne (Nov. 7) and Wagner (Nov. 21).

Sacred Heart and Wagner shared the NEC title last year, but the Pioneers earned the conference's automatic bid to the FCS playoffs because of a head-to-head win. The Pioneers had a 9-3 record.

Robert Morris is the only NEC program to win at least three straight NEC titles, claiming at least a share of the first five titles from 1996-2000.
